A bit about me…
Hi! I’m Kim Duclos. I love color, pattern, and clean, classic, modern design. My goal is to create design to that end.
Design in all forms (fine art, graphic, web, interior, textile, product, architecture, etc.) has always been an interest and inspiration for me. I’m especially drawn to color, pattern, and clean, modern lines which has heavily influenced my work through the years.
You can certainly describe me as a lifelong learner. I hold degrees in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, and Project Management. I’m continually taking online courses in sketching, watercolor, sewing, and surface pattern design to advance and hone my skills in many different areas.
I’m a designer who is creative, experienced, and delivers quality graphic and surface design solutions promptly and professionally.
I love connecting the dots between trends, markets, and buyers and producing art that evokes feelings of happiness, excitement, and adventure.
My husband, Jim, and I are living our dream life in Hawaii in the water, sand, and sun. I love to cook (although my favorite food is sushi) and we seek out great restaurants from beach shacks to fine dining. We like to golf, visit craft breweries and vineyards, go to movies, travel, laugh at the funny things our cats do, and explore the islands. I’m a voracious reader of mysteries and thrillers. You can also find me in front of the sewing machine creating quilts, bags, and handmade items. From all of this, I draw my inspiration, curiosity, energy, and determination.
